  2. SPAM: Salt Packed American Meat. A favorite here in the Pacific. I like how Gordon did the eggs British style, but surprised that fried potatoes weren't involved Anyway, that's how a lot of people cook here. Gas pipes are impossible, earthquakes, volcanoes, it's either this, or propane tanks. Wood is much cheaper, if not free. It's all dead wood, no trees are harmed here.
