Aloha nui loa Ziggy. I am from Kailua, Honolulu Hawaii, Oahu. My mama is Japanese/Portuguese. My father in the Navy. We had to move from the islands to the mainland many years ago now because of his transfer. I had a really difficult time. I have been listening to your song “Beach in Hawaii” for many years. It really gets me through. I love it. Mahalo dear Ziggy. Collette
Ended up vacationing in Hawaii by myself, the best thing that could have happened, sometimes solo traveling has lots of healing… never experienced anything like it, thank you Hawaii.
Sounds very much like Latin America's greatest band of all time SODA STEREO and their iconic song "Cuando Pase El Temblor" from 1985. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEchfRz0D8Q
My girlfriend died in my arms 4 years ago and not a day goes by that I wish she was here with me. I miss her so incredibly much. I wish she was her with me somewhere in Hawaii.😓
My brother and I got to see Ziggy Marley in concert at a state fair. I was 4 and my brother was 6. That experience really stuck with to this day because I thought it was such great music. I was talking to my mother about it today and she remembers us being so excited, thrilled, and dancing. Lol good times.
My cousin passed away 6 years ago and every time we went to my aunts house she played this song. I haven’t heard it in awhile but all the memories just come back.
J diggs used this song on his song called in Hawaii
